Kids enjoy “Children’s Time” with Pastor Will early in the service. Afterward, older children (mature 4-year-olds through 3rd grade) go to what we call Children’s Church. There, they get a snack, do a craft, and learn an age-appropriate version of what Pastor Will talks about in his sermon that day.
Nursery is available throughout small groups and worship.

What time does church start?
Church officially starts at 10:55 a.m. You’re invited to check out a Small Group as well. Groups for all ages begin at 10:00 a.m. And there’s coffee on the third floor – our main floor, near the Atrium.
Do I need to dress up?
Some people come dressed up in their “Sunday finest.” Others wear nice shirts and jeans.
More than anything, we just want you to come to worship with us.
Where do we park? Where should we go in?
The church’s parking lot entrance is on Claiborne Avenue. Once parked, walk along the Claiborne Avenue sidewalk and enter through the doors on N. Main Street.
Need a wheelchair ramp and elevator? Use the entrance at the back of the building, open through 11:00AM. You’ll find handicapped parking nearby. An elevator is just inside to take you upstairs.
Is there secure child care?
Yes! Staff members and caring volunteers oversee our safe and secure nursery and Children’s Church. Children’s Ministry Staff receive regular training and undergo regular background checks.
When children’s ministry activities are over, they are kept with the volunteers until their parent or another trusted adult comes to pick them up. Children in the nursery must be signed in and out.

Rocky Mount United Methodist Church is located at 35 N. Main Street near beautiful downtown Rocky Mount. You’ll find us right between El Rio and The Vintage Spa, at the corner of Claiborne Avenue and N. Main Street.
