Equipping Teens
to know jesus & share his love
Our Mission
We see your middle and high school students as a part of the church today. Staff and volunteers engage with teens, guiding them to know Jesus on a deeper level so that they will grow and share His love well after they graduate high school.
RMUMC Youth
What to Expect
Youth on Mission
The Rocky Mount UMC youth ministry is planning a new year filled with mission opportunities that provide for the needs of our community.
Youth will gather regularly to explore Scripture and discover how God’s Word connects to everyday life. Along the way, they’ll build meaningful friendships through fun, fellowship, and shared experiences.
Ministry Opportunities Throughout The Year
Teens are a visual, active part of Rocky Mount UMC! Here are a few things the youth do every year:
- Lead the Ash Wednesday and Youth Sunday worship services
- Volunteer on Sunday mornings, at Vacation Bible School, and for other projects
- Host a Christmas celebration for a local adult special needs home
- Serve others and go deeper in their faith through a summer mission trip
- Have a voting role on RMUMC’s church council
