Virginia Annual Conference – As a United Methodist Church in the Virginia Conference, we support ministries around the Commonwealth.
Recently, the Virginia Annual Conference supported the “Imagine No Malaria” campaign, special mission projects in Cambodia, Zimbabwe, and Brazil, and elected the first female African-American bishop in the Southeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church, Bishop Sharma D. Lewis

Global Ministries and Missions
General Board of Global Ministries – If there is a disaster anywhere worldwide, expect the UMC to step in and lend a hand. The General Board of Global Ministries is the mission arm of the UMC, alleviating suffering and enhancing the way of life so that people will know that the love of God is expressed through action.
United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) – The humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church (UMC), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization operated under the auspices of the General Board of Global Ministries.
